Schedule Your Own Carving Class

In the Spirit of Wood now offers chainsaw carving classes. Class topics include safety guidelines and procedures, tips and carving strategies, hands-on instructional design, and how to woodburn a bear. Upon completion, participants take home their personally carved bear. The class is meant for beginning carvers who possess some knowledge of how to run a chainsaw. Classes usually run on Saturdays, from 9:00AM - 3:00PM. Saws and protective gear are provided, if needed. Cost is $300/per person. Classes can range in size of 1-3 people.
